Building Connections & Industry Outreach

We were honored to be host firm for the BDO Alliance’s most recent Florida Area Meeting in Tampa. This event provides a platform for Central Florida firms to connect and gain insight on industry-specific issues like talent development, technology and firm management strategies. A highlight for our team was watching shareholder and tax practice leader, Suzanne Bach, CPA, CIT, represent Saltmarsh as a panelist sharing creative ways to leverage firm growth initiatives and promote teambuilding and collaboration.

The Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) Annual Awards Banquet was another standout event. We were excited to serve as the platinum sponsor for the banquet, which included an insightful discussion about the 2023 manufacturers report and an inspiring speech on resilience and entrepreneurship. Our team enjoys any opportunity to support our friends at BAMA and celebrate local manufacturers and their vital role in our economy. Congratulations to all who were recognized!

Summer Interns Making a Splash!

Our summer internship program kicked off with students from Troy University, UCF, USF and UWF. They learned the ropes and had the chance to experience life in public accounting firsthand, while working alongside our team. They also had opportunities to explore our firm’s broader capabilities and culture, the Saltmarsh Way by ‘delivering legendary service’ through community service projects and an eye-opening industry research project where they got to learn about major industries the firm specializes in. We’re always sad to see them go but look forward to staying in touch as they pursue the next steps in their professional journey!

Celebrating Pride

June was also a time for us to celebrate Pride! We asked our team to share what Pride Month means to them and the responses we received were both heartwarming and inspiring, showcasing the different experiences and perspectives throughout our firm. We are committed to being a supportive and inclusive workplace, where all feel valued and welcome for who they are. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the stories of our Saltmarsh Family.
