Saltmarsh Announces Internal Promotions of 2024

We’re proud to announce the following internal promotions as of January 1, 2024!

Director & Senior Managers

Angela Tumwa, CPA, CGMA – Angela has over 20 years of experience in audit and makes executing all 33 of our fundamentals look easy. Her communication style, her attitude towards teamwork and her focus on doing the right thing makes her an inspiring member of our Saltmarsh family.

Lisa Robles, CPA, CFE – Lisa has over 15 years of experience providing audit and assurance services to various industries including nonprofit, construction, government and common interest realty associations. Her favorite fundamental is ‘Help the Team Succeed’ because teamwork is so important to every audit engagement, and she loves that everyone always pitches in willingly to finish the job!

Patrick Smith, CPA – Patrick started at Saltmarsh in 2018 and has almost 20 years of experience managing audit engagements, from completion and issuance of reports to planning and executing key phases of annual audits. Patrick is a great communicator and helpful when delivering clear, concise services to the firm’s clients!

Jason Keith, CIA, CISA – Jason has over 20 years of professional experience and specializes in consulting highly-regulated industries. He is a Certified Internal Auditor who consults with our financial institution clients and provides security assessments, vulnerability and penetration testing and other related information security compliance services.

Manager & Supervisors

Melba Moody – Melba works with the firm’s financial institution clients consulting on deposit operations and compliance, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and more. She is a frequent speaker on these topics at Saltmarsh’s BankTalk events!

Jeannette Bolesta – Her primary areas of expertise include providing audit and assurance services to our construction and manufacturing clients. She began her career in audit in 2019 after receiving her Master of Accounting from the University of Tampa.

Nicole Davison, CPA – Nicole started with us in 2022 and received her Master of Accountancy from the University of West Florida in May 2023. Her primary areas of expertise include providing audit and assurance-related services to the firm’s non-profit, government and healthcare clients. She is also the chair Saltmarsh’s Book Club!

Camille Henry – She started with us in 2013 and has over 15 years of experience providing audit services to financial institutions, as well as specialized experience with employee benefit plan audits. Camille is heavily involved in the community and a graduate of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2023.

Casadi Shepherd, CPA – She started with us in 2022 and began her career in public accounting in 2018, providing tax and consulting services for individual, partnership and corporate clients. Casadi is a member of the firm’s NextGen Committee and is always looking for ways to help the team succeed!

Seniors & Staff

Claire Amato – Claire’s primary areas of expertise include providing audit and assurance services for the firm’s construction, non-profit and real estate clients. Her favorite fundamental is ‘Treat Each Other Like Family’ because her team goes above and beyond to make her feel supported in both her professional and personal life!

T.J. LeMaster – His areas of expertise include providing audit and assurance services to the firm’s clients within the non-profit and hospitality industries. When tasked with a new engagement, T.J. likes to ‘Take Action’ and jump right in!

Emily Sidor – Her primary areas of expertise include providing audit and assurance services for the firm’s construction, non-profit and real estate clients. Her favorite fundamental is ‘Help the Team Succeed’ because she loves being part of an amazing team that helps each other achieve success!

Cade Crawford – Cade is part of the firm’s Healthcare Consulting Group where his primary focus includes Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation, data analysis of revenue and expenditures and reimbursement consulting. He strives to ‘Be A Lifelong Learner’ as the rules and regulations of the healthcare industry are constantly evolving.

Brendan Barge – Brendan started with Saltmarsh in 2022 and has become a wizard in our Information Technology Services practice. He is always the first to respond when clients need assistance and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Bailee Merkel, CPA – Bailee provides tax return services to a variety of the firm’s clients, including individuals, partnerships and corporations. Her favorite fundamental is ‘Help the Team Succeed’ because having a team that steps in when needed is key to delivering the best results to our clients. She is The Ohio State University's biggest fan!

Chelle Vail – Chelle is a part of the Audit & Assurance Services practice at Saltmarsh and has over 15 years providing administration support. She is a go-getter and enjoys playing pickleball with staff every Tuesday!

Olivia Williams – Olivia supports management through report review, data entry, maintenance of client records and other administrative duties. She believes it is important to ‘Embrace Change’ because change is what led her to Saltmarsh, and being open to change means you are open to learning!
