And That's A Wrap: Manufacturing Month 2021

This October, we celebrated Manufacturing Month with client outreach, educational industry webinars and client appreciation happy hours! The goal of Manufacturing Month in Florida is to bring awareness to the manufacturing industry nationwide. We have amazing manufacturing clients at Saltmarsh, so what better time to celebrate them than a month that is dedicated to their industry?

As part of our celebration, we highlighted our amazing industry partners, BAMA, FloridaMakes, AmSkills and NW Florida Manufacturers Council. We are so thankful for their collaboration, friendship and industry knowledge!

Lifelong learning is an important fundamental for our firm, so hosting a series of Lean Thinking webinars with industry leaders was a no-brainer. The webinars dove into topics including:

Maximizing Technology to Streamline Business Processes with Andrew Laflin, CPA, president of Aclarian LLC; Streamlining Your Company's Cashflows with Scott Peper, CEO and Co-Founder of Mobilization Funding; and Automation in Business Spending with American Express Director of Business Development, Paige W. Gonzalez and Business Development Manager, Christy Hicks.

We also hosted a powerhouse women's panel facilitated by Robyn Liska, Director of Development at AmSkills, discussing Creating the Next Generation of Women Leaders featuring Pasco County Commissioner Kathryn Starkey; Paula DeLuca, Business Advisor at FloridaMakes; Melissa Brode, Associate Dean from the University of West Florida's College of Business; Angel Barton, Director of Human Resources for Aeromatrix; Jackie von Hahmann, Production Control Manager at Hine Automation; and Barbara Biller, owner of intelliTech, Inc.
