Consultant, IT (MSP) | Tampa, FL
Saltmarsh is currently seeking a Consultant with Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience for our Information Technology practice. This person should see themselves as a client service professional who wants to join a firm that fosters both personal and professional development and supports the drive for advancement. This person would work from our downtown Tampa, FL office as well as various client sites around the Tampa Bay area. Experience with ConnectWise is a plus.
As a Consultant - MSP, you will need to have a customer service mindset. Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving experience is a plus. The job will entail resolving client issues, contributing to client projects and maintaining organized documentation. You will use your interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and provide a solution to their technical problems quickly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Respond to calls, tickets and emails to troubleshoot reported issues in a helpdesk environment.
- Complete basic troubleshooting and provide IT support for Microsoft core business applications and operating systems
- Provide desktop support, manage accounts in active directory and Office 365
- Serve as a consultant to client by recommending, solutions custom to each client
- Work on projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations
- Support firewall systems
- Support of Microsoft systems, virtualization cloud, and physical workstations
- Participation in network-level projects: WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements
- Experience with Windows OS, Active directory, O365
- Excellent trouble shooting skills
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider is helpful
- ConnectWise experience is a plus
- Ability to travel to a client site; sometimes without advanced notice (parking and mileage will be reimbursed)
