Angela TumwaDirector

Angela is a director in the Audit & Assurance Services practice at Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund, bringing over 20 years of accounting experience. She excels in providing and reviewing attest services, preparing financial statements, consulting on internal controls and financial processes. Angela specializes in transaction advisory services for clients involved in mergers and acquisitions. She also provides expertise across a range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, construction contracting, nonprofit and employee benefit plans.

Her dedication to the profession is evident through her active volunteer roles with the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs over the past twelve years, including serving as past-President. Prior to joining Saltmarsh, she was a Director of Finance in a multinational organization and a senior manager at a national CPA firm.
